Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the mindcontrol service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

mindcontrol is a task management application that lets you capture, organize, and review tasks. We offer a free trial period and paid subscription plans. Features and pricing may change over time.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

Paid features are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method at the start of each billing cycle.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create within the Service ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content solely to provide the Service to you.

You are responsible for your User Content. You agree not to use the Service to store or transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use automated means to access the Service without our permission

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, logos, and underlying technology, is owned by mindcontrol and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or branding.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may export your data before termination where possible.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, mindcontrol shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
